About Kalico Project Services, LLC
Who We Are
Kalico Project Services, LLC is a small, boutique-style, minority & woman-owned consulting business operating out of North Central Florida.
The business name was inspired by the Feline Calico color-pattern, which consists of white, black and orange. In many cultures, the Calico colored cat represents balance and harmony.
As Kalico Project Services was formed, we wanted to choose a name with a strong and personal meaning - balance and harmony is something we value greatly, so this seemed like the perfect choice.
In addition, "Calico" is the name we gave one of the friendliest feral cats that are roaming our rural property.
Our Team and Expertise
Kalico Project Services, LLC is owned and operated by Ida Davis, who has over 24 years of combined experience in the HHS and DoD government contracting industries.
Ms. Davis's career began in the Biotech industry with a mid-career pivot to IT Health. Her focus has always been on Project Management and Project Controls.
Ms. Davis is Project Managment Professional (PMP) certified with PMI since 2005 and Earned Value Professional (EVP) certified with AACEI since 2009. She holds an MBA from Frostburg State University.

Cost Controls

Third Party Audit Services
Are you preparing for a government or external audit of your Project Controls system or Earned Value Management System? Kalico's owner possesses extensive experience in preparing for and supporting recurring DCMA and DCAA audits of an ANSI-748 compliant EVMS.
We offer comprehensive assistance in preparation through an in-depth review of your current system documentation, artifacts, and tools via a mock-audit process. This is followed by a mitigation strategy to address and close any identified gaps.
